In the Strategy, responsible agriculture is consistently expressed in its viewpoints, orientations, tasks,
critical programs, and projects for the period 2021-2030. The term “responsibility” is mentioned 15 times
in the Strategy, from the point of view of “responsible, modern, efficient, and sustainable agricultural
production; development of ecological, organic, circular, low-carbon, environmentally friendly, and
sustainable agriculture production which is adaptable to the climate change”. For implementation,
the Strategy also requires the MARD to issue the “National Plan on Transforming to a Transparent,
Responsible and Sustainable Food System of Viet Nam” in 2022 to guide the transition from now to 2030.
