Initial findings of the regional joint-research-Vietnam's contributions

Under the framework of the regional joint-research "Assessment of rice sector development in selected sub-Mekong countries" conducted by IPSARD and CFPs in CLMV in FY3-2021, IPSARD held the webinar "Initial findings of the regional joint-research - Vietnam's contributions" on November 12th, 2021 with the participation of teams from CDRI, NAFRI and IPSARD.

 

At the webinar, IPSARD presented primary information about the current situation, policies and orientation for the development of Vietnam's rice sector. Along with comments of colleagues from CDRI and NAFRI, Dr. Son also suggested the research teams emphasise the role of farmers and small households; and identify which policy is needed and the impact of that policy on the sector.
