Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Viet Nam (CLMV) Training on Statistic of International Trade in Services (STIS) was held on 25-26 November 2019, in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The CLMV training was held back to back with Regional Workshop on Statistic of International Trade in Services (SITS) on 27 – 29 November 2019.
The training aimed to provide a training course for the SITS compilers on international basic concepts and definition on SITS, Extended Balance of Payment (EBOPS) breakdowns, compilation of partner country breakdowns, and to discuss the issues and challenges for the application of concepts and methodologies in the development and harmonisation of SITS in ASEAN.

Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Viet Nam (CLMV) Training on Foreign Direct Investment Statistic (FDIS) was held on 28-29 October 2019, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
The CLMV training was held back to back with Regional Workshop on Foreign Direct Investment Statistic (FDIS) on 30 October – 01 November 2019.
The CLMV training aimed to provide a training course for the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) statistics compilers on international concepts and on specific methodology concerning Foreign Direct Investment FDI; to present and explain the implementation of concept and definitions into practice; examples and guidelines; and to discuss the issues and challenges for the application of concepts and methodologies in the development and harmonisation of FDIS in ASEAN.
NARDT - NETWORK FOR AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT THINK-TANKS FOR COUNTRIES IN MEKONG SUB-REGION

Fifty-six participants representing various ministries of CLMV actively participated in the three-day training, which consisted of lectures/presentations, discussion and group exercises by AIM on project performance management system, the work of leadership: facing adaptive challenges, and project scheduling. This was complemented by presentation on ASEAN Project Cycle and workshop on ASEAN Cooperation project proposal development facilitated by ASEAN Secretariat. The JAIF Management Team also presented an overview of JAIF and its financial disbursement and reporting systems for projects.
Việt Nam wants to foster co-operation between countries in the Mekong sub-region and share experiences in agricultural and rural development through policy advisory networks of not only government agencies but also non-governmental organisations and the private sector.
A workshop was held in Hanoi on July 16 to launch a regional project to improve cooperation in policy research, implementation and advocacy in agriculture and rural development in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam.
