In this meeting, our researchers were able to present our previous research study ,for instance PPPPs; in which the findings could be a potential input in shaping the policy in the Agricultural sector. On the other hand, we have shared with H.E. Minister our new research ideas, namely, the Innovation Model in Agriculture and Rural Development, aiming to increase the quantity and quality of agriculture production through the use of technology as well as to scale-up or institutionalize the best innovation models in Cambodia.

According to the Minister, it is requested for CDRI to conduct study on economic analysis, market demand and research on the use of technology (Digitalization) that facilitates the value chain between producers and consumers through a system that is applicable and practical to the farmers.

Key take-away from this meeting includes the opportunity for CDRI to take part as the member in developing the Master Plan of MAFF which focuses mainly on production cost, innovation or sustainable model for agricultural development. In this regard, CDRI is hopeful to continue working on more research study which contributing to the improvement of people's livelihood through the introduction of a clear agricultural plan, ensuring food security, which allows farmers to continue cultivating and maintaining a stable price of local agricultural products and high prices for export agricultural products. CDRI and MAFF will continue this active collaboration and deliver a more impact outcome in the future.
