Regional research “Agricultural innovations review in Sub-Mekong region countries” in the framework of the project “Network for Agriculture and Rural Development Think-tanks for Countries in Mekong sub-region” – November 2022 - April 2023.

The project of Agro Vege Farm was built on an area of 40 hectares including 2 phases. The first phase was to build infrastructure on an area of 15 hectares, including 33 vegetable production greenhouses, 1 quality control greenhouse, 8 container dormitories and 1 main dormitory. Phase two of the project expanded the area by 25 hectares.

The farm makes a significant contribution to local economic and social development. At least 180 local workers are employed by the farm, which also produces 200 different varieties of vegetables for both domestic and international markets and contributes to the decrease in the quantity of vegetables imported from overseas. Additionally, the farm boosts the local economy by providing tourism services for both domestic and foreign visitors. This is an agricultural model combining agri-production with tourism that is suitable for the localities and can mobilize the available resources effectively.
